• Go to Home Screen on your device
• Tap and hold anywhere on the screen
• Tap on Home Screen Settings
• Scroll down and tap on Hide Apps
• Now select the apps you want to hide.

• Go to your Home screen
• Tap on the Settings
• Scroll to Accessibility and tap on it

On phones running the Android Pie-based Samsung One UI, users can now enable the “Lock Home screen layout” setting to prevent such accidents from happening.

• To activate this go to Settings
• Then Display
• Click the Home Screen menu

• Touch to enable it.

Now, if you try to move to drag anything from home screen it will stay as-is. By doing this you can make sure your icon setup is not disturbed by keeping your phone in your pocket or by accidentally pressing icons.

#9. Lift to wake feature

With Lift to wake enabled, one can just bring the phone up to their face and have it automatically scan the eyes and unlock the phone, without requiring any button presses. Of course, it works just as well with Intelligent Scan, which scans both the eyes and the face for authentication.

The Lift to wake feature is especially useful if you unlock your device via biometric options like Intelligent Scan or the iris sensor.

• Go to Settings menu on your device
• Click on Advanced features
• Then go to Motions and gestures
• You will find Lift to wake option

When you activate it you will be able to turn on the display by lifting the phone from the table or getting an out from your pocket without pressing any buttons.

#10. Navigation Gestures

Samsung provided the on-screen navigation on the One UI with a new dimension. Not only can you hide the navigation bar – like on all recent Samsung phones – but you can keep navigating without removing the bar.

Go to Display in the Settings, scroll down a bit and choose Navigation bar> Full-screen gestures option. To switch to gesture navigation, make sure the Show and Hide button is on, and choose the Actions for Start, Back and Recent option. Then, at the bottom left, tap the ‘dot’ that hides the navigation bar.
